CORID 9.6% Oral Solution is a coccidiostat specifically labeled for both the treatment and prevention of bovine coccidiosis (bloody scours) caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii in calves.

CORID contains amprolium, a compound that interferes with coccidia’s ability to utilize Vitamin B₁ (thiamine), helping control coccidia populations when administered according to label directions.

CORID may be administered in drinking water or as a drench, making it flexible and easy to use in beef and dairy operations.

How CORID Works 

CORID resembles Vitamin B₁ but provides no nutritional value.
Coccidia require Vitamin B₁ to grow and reproduce. When coccidia ingest amprolium, they experience a functional thiamine deficiency, leading to starvation and interruption of the coccidia life cycle.

Indications for Use

CORID (amprolium) is indicated as an aid in the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis (bloody scours) in calves caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii.

Administration Options

 Drinking Water Administration
