Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays. Most in-stock items ship within 0–3 business days after your order is placed. Some specialty or oversized items may ship directly from one of our trusted suppliers to ensure the fastest possible delivery. In either case, all products are handled and shipped through verified U.S. facilities.

Orders must be received by 2pm CST for same day fulfillment or overnight orders.

Overnight orders can only be guaranteed next day delivery when shipped Monday through Thursday as most carriers do not guarantee deliveries Saturday or Sunday.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped, including tracking information.

Local Pickup (Pineville, Missouri)

We proudly offer free local pickup for customers near our Pineville, Missouri warehouse.

  • Pickup Day: Saturdays
  • Pickup Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Pickup Cost: Free

To select local pickup, choose Local Pickup at checkout. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive an email confirmation with pickup instructions.

Important Notes:

  • Orders must be placed by Friday at 2:00 PM CST to guarantee Saturday pickup.
  • Please bring your order confirmation email when picking up.
  • Any custom order items or items marked with the below notes on the product page may not be eligible for local pickup unless specifically approved—please contact us before ordering if unsure.

Shipping Rates

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $79 (excluding vaccines and oversized or freight-only items). If total order exceeds $79 and includes vaccines, free shipping applies to the non-vaccine items only. Vaccines will still be charged freight unless the vaccine subtotal qualifies for free shipping (see below).

For orders under $79, there is a flat rate of $8.99 added at checkout (excluding vaccines and oversized or freight-only items).

Need it faster? Expedited UPS and FedEx options are available at checkout.

Vaccine Shipments

Due to temperature sensitivity, all vaccines ship overnight with frozen ice packs to ensure product quality.

  • Orders containing vaccines must ship separately from other products.
  • Vaccine orders over $250 qualify for free overnight shipping.
  • Orders under $250 will include an overnight shipping charge of $25.99.
  • Vaccines only ship Monday through Thursday to ensure proper delivery 
  • For next day shipping the cutoff time is 2pm CST

Please ensure someone is available to receive the shipment upon delivery to maintain proper temperature control.

Freight on Buyer Items

Certain oversized or heavy products—such as large scales, water tanks, and chicken coops—are designated “Freight on Buyer.” These items do not qualify for free shipping and will ship via LTL or freight carrier. Products that require freight delivery will be clearly labeled on the product page with a “Freight on Buyer” notice. The corresponding flat rate freight charge will automatically appear at checkout, ensuring full transparency before purchase.

Product-Specific Shipping Information

Each product page includes a notice under the Add to Cart section that specifies which shipping category the item qualifies for. This notice will clearly indicate whether the product ships under our Standard Shipping, Vaccine Shipping, or Freight on Buyer policy.

These labels make it easy to identify shipping terms before checkout—so you’ll always know if an item qualifies for free shipping, requires overnight cold shipment, or ships via freight carrier.

Delivery Times

Orders (excluding custom & made-to-order items, see below for information) are typically processed and shipped within 0–3 business days.
Standard delivery times range from 3–7 business days after shipment, so most customers receive their order within 3–10 business days from the date of purchase, depending on location.
Freight and oversized orders may take 7–17 business days from the date of purchase depending on carrier scheduling.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items

Certain products, such as custom ear tags, are made to order and ship directly from the manufacturer. Custom orders typically require 4–5 weeks for production and delivery. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your order ships.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship within the continental United States.
We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories at this time.

Carriers Used

We use USPS, FedEx, and UPS for parcel shipping or a third-party LTL carrier for oversized items. 

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
You can track your shipment at any time using the link provided in your email.

Damaged or Missing Packages

If your order arrives damaged or if you believe it’s been lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@americanfarmandhome.com. We’ll work with the carrier to resolve the issue quickly.

Backordered Items

If an item in your order is on backorder, we’ll notify you via email with the estimated restock and ship date.
You may choose to wait for restock or request a refund for that item.
