BOVI-SHIELD GOLD ONE SHOT is a combination vaccine that helps protect against three important bovine viral respiratory disease conditions while also providing effective protection against Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica.

BOVI-SHIELD GOLD ONE SHOT is a freeze-dried preparation of modified live virus (MLV) strains of IBR, BVD (Types 1 and 2), PI3, and BRSV viruses and product prepared from whole cultures of M. haemolytica propagated to increase the production of leukotoxin as well as capsular and cell-associated antigens. A sterile diluent, containing adjuvant to enhance the immune response, is provided to rehydrate the freeze-dried fraction.
Directions
Vaccination of healthy cattle is recommended. Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried component with the sterile diluent provided, mix well and administer subcutaneously. This product should be administered subcutaneously in the neck region in accordance with Beef Quality Assurance guidelines.
- Primary Vaccination: Administer a single 2-mL dose to healthy cattle. To avoid possible maternal antibody interference with active immunization, calves vaccinated before the age of 6 months should be revaccinated after 6 months of age or at weaning.
- Revaccination: Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended. Good management practices support revaccination whenever subsequent stress or exposure is likely.
